 Defensive Rifle training class is a one day course developed for novice an
 d experienced shooters. It dives deeper into the defensive shooting mindse
 t by enhancing basic skills and introducing new techniques and stress. Stu
 dents should be comfortable operating their rifle and handgun and have a g
 ood grasp on marksmanship and safe handling. This is a good class for shoo
 ters who have taken classes before and want a low stress brush-up of criti
 cal skills. This class builds on the skills learned in the introductory cl
 ass by doing more\, faster. After a brief refresher\, the class progresses
  into more advanced weapons manipulation and shooting. Students will dive 
 deeper into positional shooting and using cover/concealment\, engaging mul
 tiple targets\, basic movement\, and operating near others. Sling techniqu
 e and handgun transitions are also introduced. Areas covered during this c
 lass: Safety reinforcement - handling\, range\, storage\, operationalRevie
 w of violence of action and post-shooting issuesBuilding upon the fundamen
 tals: grip\, stance\, sight picture\, sight alignment\, trigger control\,
